Day 1 Cusco - San Pedro De Cachora - Chiquisca

Lunch– Supper
Very early, even before dawn, we bound for the town of San Pedro de Cachora 2850 meters, where we arrive after four hours away. After inspecting all the equipment, both needed for camping and animals (mules and horses) to be used on the expedition, we will start walking a distance of approximately 17.00 km, which we will do in about six (6) hours of walking.
Starting the tour we will appreciate the majestic snowcapped Padreyoc located at 5.482 meters, and will not fail to marvel at the natural beauty of the place, always taking the opportunity to have brief contact with some residents in the vicinity. After 2 hours of flat road we will arrive to the lookout of Capuliyoc 2900 meters, from where we will see the entire route of the Apurimac Canyon and location of the archaeological complex of Choquequirao, along with the full path to perform. There we will take a short break, during which passengers will be able to take pictures and see some pre-Inca archaeological remains. At this point it is likely that we see a majestic condor flight.
