Day 01 … / Lima

Welcome to Peru!
Arrival to Jorge Chavez international Lima’s airport. Assistance by one of our representatives of Domiruth Travel Service and transfer to the hotel. Check in (15:00 hours).

Day 02 Lima

Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning visit the Art Gallery of Lucia de la Puente, one of the best art places in Lima. Here the most recognized Peruvian artists expose their works such Jose Tola, Sandra Gamarra, Fernando “Huanchaco” Gutierrez and the grand Jorge Piqueras. The lunch will be at the Astrid & Gaston restaurant owned by the famous Chef Gaston Acurio. This restaurant is located at Casa Moreyra, and old house part of the Hacienda San Isidro with more than 300 years old.
In the afternoon visit the Casona de San Marcos, located at the University Park, which become now an active cultural center. After that, you will visit Plaza Mayor, where you can see the Cathedral. Also you will appreciate the Government Palace and the city hall both located in the same main square. The visit will continue towards Casa Aliaga, the oldest house in Lima. Built by Mr. Jerónimo de Aliaga in 1535, one of the 13 of the Cock Island and founder of the city. This house was owned by 17 generations of the same family and it continues until now furnished in colonial style. Finally will be visit the Osambela Palace or Oquendo house, it is a big house of neoclassic style and was built during the XVIII century by Martin Oquendo de Osambela. Return to the hotel.

Day 03 Lima – Cusco

Breakfast at hotel.
At proper time transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco. Arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel. We recommend resting at least 2 hours in order to get acclimatized to the altitude.
In the afternoon visit Cusco city, Cathedral and the Sun Temple (Qoricancha). Our visit will continue towards the typical San Pedro Market, where we could learn about the local products. In San Pedro market will learn about the Cusco cultural heritage, customs, histories, products, scents, living culture that here reaches an authentic expression, the market is a focus of confluence for the necessity, where daily encounters take place. Finally visiting San Blas neighborhood, a picturesque and artisan neighborhood, home to the most renowned artists in the city. Our visit will end with a visit to the Precolumbian Art Museum (MAP). In this historic monument the Inca's history of urban architecture is synthesized from Inca's wall that still remain, to the republican balconies overlooking the inner courtyard. The MAP rescues and reinterprets the plastic Pre - Columbian Peru man’s message. Museology and lighting highlights the beauty of painting and sculpture of the Peruvian prehistory through eleven rooms, exposing the work of those anonymous artists whose works still a source of pride and admiration. Our day will end with a delicious dinner at the MAP Café restaurant. The gastronomic proposal delights the senses with an interesting reinvention of the traditional food, inspiration cuisine that wants to transmit the highest expression of the national culinary art. Day 04 Cusco – Sacred Valley

Our visit to the Sacred Valley will start in the morning. This visit includes, Awanacancha textile center, located in an archeological location which was an area of cultivation Inka, Conditioned to the ancestral way, recovering and restoring the set in its natural environment, using mainly stones and mud in a clear allusion to the symbiotic relationship between culture and nature of the Andean man. The visit will continue to Pisac town, a delightful place where you can bargain for the goodies with the local street vendors. Lunch at Wayra ranch, the perfect place for a relaxing lunch. This restaurant counts on spaces that fusion modernity with tradition. The lunch will be accompanied by the Peruvian Paso Horse show and famous marinera. (Could change depending on the day). After lunch, the visit will continue towards the Ollantaytambo Fortress. Here you will walk into the most important sections of the place, accompanied by our guide.

Day 05 Sacred Valley

Breakfast at hotel.
Departure to Cruzpata, near Huaypo lagoon (3,508 meters) where we will find the horses and begin the cavalcade. Along the way, you will enjoy incredible views of the surrounding altiplano. Moray is a place where the former inhabitants of the region used four large natural depressions in the area to form different levels of agricultural terraces that served, for hundreds of years, as an experimental agricultural season for the development of different crops. Moray was the place that played an important role in the transformation of maize by a suitable crop to the height. Then continues the ride to Maras (3400 masl) for approximately one hour. Maras is a typical Andean village that boasts a wonderful 400-year-old colonial church. This is where the picnic will be taken. After lunch, continues towards the salt works of Maras (3000 masl) for about an hour. It will be appreciated the snowy Chicon, Veronica and Salkantay. The salt mines of Maras are made up of approximately 3000 small swimming pools with an average area of 5 m2, built on the side of the Qaqawiñay Mountain. Return to the hotel.

Day 06 Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu

In the morning very early departure to the station train Ollantaytambo to board the train heading to the town of Aguas Calientes, the trip will take approximately 01 hour and 30 minutes. En route we can appreciate a diversity of natural landscapes according to the existing altitudinal floors, we will arrive at the station of the village of Aguas Calientes, and from here we will board the buses to ascend to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The visit starts by observing the great landscape that surrounds it. The excursion will be 02 hours and 30 minutes.
At appropied time board again the bus that descends towards the town of Aguas Calientes. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.
Transfer to hotel and dinner.

Day 7 Machu Picchu – Cusco

Breakfast at hotel.
Free morning and opportunity to visit again the citadel or climb to the Huayna Picchu Mountain (not included in the itinerary). At proper time transfer to the train station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo and transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 08 Cusco

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning at leisure.
Today we will lunch at Casa Qoricancha Restaurant, located near The Famous Sun Temple, inside an old colonial house. Its installations of neo baroque style, emphasize high ceilings with motifs in high relief of gold leaf. The culinary offer is based in the Peruvian cuisine with an elegance touch, fresh regional products, and details that consolidate the cuisine. In the afternoon, you will continue the visit to The Sacsayhuaman Archeological Site. Including visit to Qenqo (Ceremonial and Ritual Center where Inca sacrifices where done), Puca Pucara (Ancient Inca Tambo and monitoring position), Tambomachay (Ceremonial Center of Worship of Water), and The Sacsayhuaman Fortress (place where main Inca festivity where celebrated, Inti Raymi and Warachicuy). Return to the hotel.

Day 09 Cusco – Lima

Breakfast at hotel.
At appropriate time transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Lima city. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon visit to the Bohemian district of Barranco. We will made a stop to visit the Pedro de Osma Museum, formed from the private collection of the philanthropist Pedro de Osma Gildemeister, who has safekeeping virreynal of works of our country heritage. A big part of his life until his dead in 1967, collected objects of the XVI – XVIII century, such, paints, sculptures, altarpieces, silver pieces, Huamanga stone carvings, furniture and various objects from areas of ancient Andean traditions specially from Cusco and Ayacucho. After that we will appreciate the famous Ermita church, the Chabuca Grande and Peruvian Paso horse monuments, we will continue towards the Mirador where we will enjoy the famous pisco sour and the traditional Peruvian sweet picarones. Finally we will pass over the famous Bridge of sighs and if time permits we will go down by the bath pass to observe the Pacific Ocean. Return to the hotel.

Day 10 Lima

Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport to board the international flight
